Live chat for WHMCS

TalkingDot connects to WHMCS with a free addon module. Every chat shows the client's services, invoices, domains and open tickets, signed-in clients are recognised automatically, and the AI assistant can answer billing questions for you. It works with WHMCS 7.10 to 9.

Everything your support team needs, next to the chat

The client card

Client status and group, amount paid, unpaid and overdue invoices, credit balance, services with renewal dates, domains with expiry dates and open tickets — each linking to the right page in your WHMCS admin. Learn more about The client card →

Support PIN verification

Clients see a support PIN in your client area. They type it in the chat (or read it to you on the phone) and we check it with WHMCS before anyone shares account details. Five wrong tries lock it for 30 minutes. Learn more about Support PIN verification →

Signed-in clients recognised

Show the messenger in your WHMCS client area and signed-in clients are identified and verified automatically — no email to type.

AI actions for billing and domains

The AI assistant looks up invoices, sends the payment link and lists services and domains. EPP codes, nameserver changes, server reboots and password-reset emails work too, once you allow them, and wait for a teammate's approval. Learn more about AI actions for billing and domains →

Your status in the messenger

Show your uptime status from UptimeRobot, HetrixTools, Statuspage, Instatus or Better Stack before anyone asks whether the server is down. Learn more about Your status in the messenger →

Every channel in one inbox

Website chat, email, WhatsApp and Telegram arrive in the same shared inbox, with assignment, teams, saved replies and notes.

Get started in three steps

  1. 1

    Download the module

In Settings → Integrations → WHMCS, click Download WHMCS module. It already contains your connection code.

  2. 2

    Upload and activate

Unzip it into your WHMCS folder and activate it under Addon Modules. It connects by itself.

  3. 3

    Choose what to share

Services, domains, invoices, tickets — and whether to show the messenger in your client area.

Frequently asked questions

Which WHMCS versions does TalkingDot support?

WHMCS 7.10 to 9, on PHP 7.2 or newer. The addon module is free: you download it from your TalkingDot dashboard with your connection code already inside.

Is the connection to my WHMCS secure?

Every request is signed with HMAC-SHA256 using your connection code and is valid for five minutes; the module refuses anything else. You choose in the module what is shared, and disconnecting removes everything we were told.

Can the AI change things in WHMCS on its own?

Actions that only read run straight away. Actions that change something — EPP codes, nameserver changes, reboots, password-reset emails — are off in the module until you allow them, and then each one waits for a teammate to approve it. Every run is logged with who ran and approved it.

How do clients prove who they are in the chat?

Clients signed in to your client area are verified automatically. Others can type the support PIN shown in your client area, or get a one-time code by email. Codes and PINs typed in the chat are hidden from the team and never reach the AI.

How much does it cost?

The WHMCS module and every feature are on every plan, including Free (300 conversations a month). Paid plans are a flat price per account — $19 or $29 a month — never per seat. See pricing.
