Pricing questions

Will it stay free?

Yes. Our commitment is simple: the features listed on our features page today stay free. We don't sell seats, we don't move features behind a paywall later, and you will never need a credit card to keep using TalkingDot.

Is there a catch?

No trial, no card, no seat pricing and no upsell calls. The only limits are fair-use limits on attachment size and file storage per workspace (shown in the table above), which keep the service fast and sustainable for everyone. By default the messenger shows a small “Powered by TalkingDot” line.

Do I need a credit card to sign up?

No. Sign up with your email address and you can start chatting with visitors right away.

Are there limits on teammates or conversations?

Conversations, messages and contacts are unlimited, and so are teammates unless a limit is shown in the fair-use table. Each account can create several workspaces — one per website or brand.

What happens if a workspace reaches its storage limit?

New file uploads in that workspace pause until space is freed up — chat itself keeps working. Deleting old conversations or setting an auto-delete period in Settings → Privacy helps keep storage in check. If you have a special need, contact us.

Is there a paid or enterprise plan?

No. There is one plan and it includes everything. If your organization needs something specific — such as help with a large migration or self-hosting — talk to us.

How does it compare with paid tools?
